Migration:
Since they were first discovered on Hilton Head Island in 1970, the Birds' migration patterns have zigzagged across the U.S., the to England and Europe, making stops in Belgium, France, Switzerland and Germany. Returning on the trade winds, they landed on the tropical isles of St. Barts, St. Martin, the Turks and Ciacos, and the Royal Caribbean's Coco Cay, Bahamas.
 
Travel:
Favorite resorts include the Westin and Hilton hotels, Hilton Head Island; Boca Raton Hotel & Club; Valdez Inn, Alaska; Le Village St. Jean, St. Barthelemy, FVI
 
Golf:
After lessons from Bob Gilder, they play in such venues as Bermuda, Palm Springs, Hilton Head Island, Naples (FL), and Cape Cod National Golf Club.
 
Tennis:
They burn up the courts from Van Der Meer Tennis Center on Hilton Head Island to Indian Hill in Cincinnati.
 
Literature:
They are found in the company of John Jakes and Patricia Cornwall.
 
High Finance:
Their many "deposits" include those at the Federal Reserve Bank, Charlotte, NC, and MBNA in Delaware, MD.
 
Leisure:
After Sunbathing in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, they take pleasure in cooling down in fountains at resorts like the Westin and Hilton resorts on Hilton Head Island, corporate and residential developments in the States and abroad, and beside private pools.
 
Cocktailing:
This particular species of bird enjoys whetting his whistle with "almost anybody," but one of his favorites is Robert Mondavi.
